Equine Physiotherapy
Veterinary Physiotherapy uses a wide range of evidence based treatments to restore problems with range of movement, balance and muscle condition. The choice of treatment will depend on the clinical presentation and the individual animal.
Canine Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy can help your dog, maximise quality of life, maximise athletic performance, rehabilitate following injury or surgery, rehabilitation following spinal injury or pathology and maintain musculoskeletal comfort during later life. By looking at the bigger picture and not just treating your dog i can help them restore their quality of life, their activity and overall health to the best it can be.
Human Physiotherapy
As a Chartered Physiotherapist i can examine, diagnose and treat your problem as well. Unlike in Veterinary Medicine where referal from a Vet is always required before an animal can be treated by any therapist, In human medicine Physiotherapists are first contact autonomous practitioners therefore, you do not require referral from your GP for Physiotherapy. I can request further imaging if indicated during the assessment or refer you back to your GP for this. I continue to enjoy treating people, and your well-being is my main concern, therefore i am happy to work with other healthcare professionals. By continuing with NHS hours you can be assured my skills are kept up to date through access to other specialist Physiotherapists and regular training on the most current evidence based medicine and treatment. All treatments are carried out in your home, and I have a portable treatment table to enable this.
Rehabilitation Livery
